need restoration build with no spirits
I like rits, I don't like spirits. Would a restoration build with no spirits be powerfull like a restoration build with spirits? If yes please post a build. If not then nvm, I'll just use a build with spirits.

Sorry but most Resto builds won't ever be as strong as ones with spirits. That's the power trade off I'm afraid...

You could try a Weapon of Remedy/Vengeful weapon build, but if you want the bigger heals your gonna have to use spirits.

I agree. Your need for synergy with spirits is what makes being a rit so hard. Now instead of being totally without spirits, I can give you a very fast moving build. It's nowhere near as good as a real resto build, but it'll work for those areas you need to get up and go
[skill]Spirit Light[/skill]
[skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill]
[skill]Weapon Of Shadow[/skill]
[skill]Vengeful Weapon[/skill]
[skill]Attuned was Songkai[/skill] or [skill]Consume Soul[/skill] for party heal
[skill]Summon Spirits[/skill]
[skill]Life[/skill] OR [skill]Destruction[/skill] for the recharge
[skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]
I considered Soul twisting seriously because it would allow you to cast life faster and even determine when to set it off, but this build needed serious E menegement so went with summon spirits.

You can make a pure restoration build without spirits, however, like others have said, the most healing you can do is because spirits exist on your skill bar (not because of the spirits themselves, but because of the spells that use spirits).
Wielder's Remedy
Renewing Memories
Wielder's Boon
Weapon of Warding
Soothing Memories
Protective Was Kaolai
Spirit Light Weapon (e)
Flesh Of My Flesh
No spirits, some e-management, condition removal, some nice heals, and 1 party heal. Not too bad without spirits.
Hope this helps.

thank you all for ur help.
Pick Me, I'm not sure but is spirit light worth taking if I'm not using a spirit? it gives double the effect when around a spirit.
Fishmonger, if I don't have enough success with a no spirits build I'll try ur build.

While you do get more benefits with a spirit when you use SLW, it doesn't mean you can't just ignore it. 15 health per second for 10 seconds and it has a quick recharge time.
I've never tried this (just because I was just thinking of it now), but would Spirit Light w/o spirits be benficial if you use Greneth's Balance as your elite? Good heals, you sac, then you heal yourself with GB. I may try this to see if it becomes any good.
Attuned Was Tsungkai is an alternate then for SLW.

Restoration spirits are really what gives a rit the big guns for healing.
Your best bet is a weapon of remedy build, or a weapon spammer of some sort.
Weapon of remedy:
[skill]weapon of remedy[/skill][skill]vengeful weapon[/skill][skill]protective was kaolai[/skill][skill]renewing memories[/skill][skill]soothing memories[/skill][skill]inspired hex[/skill][skill]wielder's boon[/skill][skill]death pact signet[/skill]
Not a primary healer by any means, but provides a lot of support with some offensive pressure.
[skill]weapon of warding[/skill][skill]resilient weapon[/skill][skill]renewing memories[/skill][skill]protective was kaolai[/skill][skill]attuned was songkai[/skill][skill]serpent's quickness[/skill][skill]wielder's boon[/skill][skill]death pact signet[/skill]
Provides decent prot to part members with oodles of energy, the only downside is that weapon spells don't stack.

im a big rit player, especially heals and hybrids. try this to have endless energy..
generous (hold at all times)
soothing mem
mend body
weapon of warding
reveal hex
channeling
elite of your choice
flesh
its basically a shred from the same build i use that has skills replacing pres or life and spirit light.
take out reveal and channel for deny hexes and gift of health if you like from the monk line. gl (btw, spirits are sweet, it'd be smarter to use them no offense.)

Dr Strangelove I would like to try ur first build but wep of remedy is in nightfall, i'm in factions and I don't have the money for a tome.
Mekkakat ur right about spirits. But the only spirit I've found useful is Life. Preservation is just to random and is an elite. And I didn't know about channeling, it's great. I give up and use a build with spirits. This is my curent build:
Restoration: 16
Inspiration: 10
Spawning: 9
Soothing Memories
Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Light
Spirit Light Weapon
Channeling
Protective was Kaolai
Life
Flesh of my flesh
Should I change anything? except spirit light weapon.

the special thing about ritualists is that most of their skills are related to synergy from items/weapon/spirits. spirits are the best synergy cuz they are the most vulnerable of the 3. yet, in pve, mobs dont know that killing ur spirits will hinder u a lot so they dont attack them. so, for pve i recommend u use spirits.
if u dont like spirits, u can try something with weapons... i see that ppl already gave u some builds. since, between us, normal mode pve isnt much of a challenge, i think a weapon build can work.
